In my 35 year career as a first responder, I grew to know and love life on the streets. My schedule and earned time off allowed me to travel extensively, which exposed me to other cultures around the world. No matter how different societies may seem, we are more similar than might immediately meet the eye. I find that people are the most interesting subject matter for my photography, whether candids of people reacting to each other or their environment, or impromptu portraits hastily arranged upon chance meetings.
